When I last wrote a newsletter waaaaay back in January I was in a pretty bad place. I’d just lost over 50,000 words from my latest novel, and the audiobook for Metanoia had been delayed.
Well, after buckling down and writing day and night for the last few months, I’ve managed to rewrite the 50k words I lost. I’m now up to roughly 80,000 words on the final novel of the Mother of Sorrow trilogy!
I’ve still got five or six chapters to go, so the first draft should be finished in the next couple of months, which means I can now finally announce the title : The City of Grief and Pain. Quite an apt analogy for what this book had put me through, but I’m still having great fun writing it despite a few bumps along the way!
